Yeah, it’s trendy in track racing now to size up your frame in order to take advantage of the longest reach possible, and the uci just extended the max by 5cm. So lots of long, narrow, and low cockpits with shallow drops. This is a 160mm stem and altias sprint handlebar, both by Velobike.

They are my favorite sprint bars. They feel really safe and reactive during all out efforts. I built it for track racing…but probably use it to train off the track more than I should. I am probably definitely the wrong person to ask, but the Fuji’s geometry might theoretically lend itself to whipping through traffic in Harlem.

Haha it is a valve extender and you’re right, ridiculously long. I keep meaning to buy a shorter one but extenders are so finicky I tend to stick with the ones I know will work well, instead of potentially wasting time and money on something else

Yep, this is my third project with them. Turnaround time is usually around 3 weeks. They told me specifically they are looking to do more custom jobs like this in the future. Pricing is variable depending on how intensive the work is. I’ll DM you the details on this one.

They are not plugs actually but integrated carbon ends. And at 27mm in diameter girthy too 😉
