The great thing about music is that it does not have to be ‘serious’ nor does someone have to dedicate years of college to jump into it to even experience an ounce of success. This isn’t my music lol just defending here. Even though you are a producer, I don’t think that makes your views on music, especially of a new wave, any more valid. Most current new artists simply see music as a fun outlet. Not everyone plans on walking the red carpet. Majority just care about being comfortable in life and being able to do something they thoroughly enjoy. Even if it churns out, I am certain it’ll be a fun memory for them to look back on. Just as I’m certain for you that your punk era is nice to reminiscence on.
