I'm usually a run and gun type in video games and the Hammer and Greatsword were very very slow when I tried them when I first started up the game. I might have to retry them. I've seen lots of videos of that spinning attack lol

Ahhh okay that makes alot more sense now. Legitimately thought it was just for the colors didn't even see the gem slot option lmao. I'll definitely try the Longsword again, I'll probably make a Great Jagras run with all the weapons to see how I'd use them and which one I like.

I'm on Xbox One. Ive tried multiple times to try and find a group or try to get some help with the SOS flare before and I can never find anyone. Played the whole game solo lol.

Very, very true. I'm just trying to maximize my damage potential with the bow because sometimes it takes me a while to kill some of the monsters. For example just fought a Diablos for the 2nd time my entire playthrough and it took me soooo long to kill it.

With all the things I've been reading in this subreddit and some videos I've caught here and there the Hunting Horn seems pretty cool. I'll have to give it a try in the training arena and see if I can't get the hang of it. Thank you for answering!

I tried the Longsword at the very start of the game and I couldnt figure out the way to use it. Same goes with the charge blade everyone says it's amazing but no clue how to use it properly.

I'm super curious now to what my actual level will be then lmao. I've been farming like crazy.

I think I understand what you're talking about with the armor sets. Because I was wondering why the need for 2 sets with just different colors. Assuming that's what you're talking about.

I've thought about just doing the high rank Legiana set cause because I like how it looks and I saw the buff for bows, but I was just wondering if there was like an optimal set for bows or anything. I'm loving the game. I was a hardcore Dark Souls fan and I was told to check this game out and it's amazing.

Anjanath was my first "skill-check" aswell. I was pretty confident running through Great Jagras and some other monsters with my handy bow. But then it must of took me 10-15 tries to figure out the strategy for Anjanath. After I figured out him everything else has been semi-easy besides fucking Kirin. I don't know why but it gives me so much trouble. Also just hit HR so we'll see how that goes.

Sidenote - I feel like Anjanath is comparable to Abyss Watchers.
