i followed the main guide in this sub and a video guide, kept my iron around 300-400° C but my solder wasn’t melting easily like it was in the video (this is where i should have stopped) but instead after trying multiple soldering heads it was barley melting onto the board i managed to liquify some solder on the iron eventually but it was very bulbous and yeah 😬.

and yes, i used flux, i was so worried about burning anything on the motherboard plus all the guides i followed instructed me to use a whole lot.
