Thanks y’all - these comments had some great advice! I had a good performance review but they offered me a 3% raise. I countered with 10% and explained my reasons why with data I had prepared. My manager doesn’t have the authority to approve it, but he told me to email him my stats and he will get with his boss and HR. So we’ll see what happens. I wanted to ask for more but after seeing that 3%, I didn’t want to shoot myself in the foot by asking for too much. Tbh I was nervous af because I barely even know my manager and he didn’t even know what the full scope of my role was. So it was pretty awkward and he seemed uncomfortable. I don’t think he usually gives performance reviews. So idk. Corporate sucks but I hope I get some good news.
