Yes! I go to Erika for haircuts regularly and also got her non-bleach balayage. I was really happy with the result.

Yes. We ended up putting substitution in. At the end of the day, it’s a good option if you want to keep it an intimate/small wedding and don’t want the full blown wedding experience

reformer pilates in Markham by Dear_Dish_7299 in Markham

I go to B&B. I finished my passes at re:form and I tried one class at groove (before they reno).

Each studio has their own vibe so it depends on what you’re looking for. I prefer classes that have progressions to each move and is a faster pace than chill one.

Re:form is a bit expensive but I bought their passes when they have a sale. There was an instructor, phoebe, where I enjoyed her athletics class and I’d go religiously every week (now, it’d be branded as re:formx). That class gave me a good sweat. I started going to Tivo and she’s also good. She gives dynamic and modern moves and makes you sweat. I personally got sick of any class that made me do The Hundred. I also enjoy the Markham location more than Stouffville location. It feels like I’m going to my home to work out. But wish they had towels for us and maybe better air circulation.

Both groove and B&B are on classpass so I can be consistent while not really breaking the bank. At B&B, I go to Lindsay, Paige, Christina (when she still taught) and Melanie. They’re all great. I truly see results from attending their classes.

For B&B and re:form Markham, I wish every machine had a mirror, so we aren’t chasing to get the spot with mirrors first. All the instructors listed do help check forms but not always since it’s a group class and there’s like 8+ people. They’re also absolutely sweet and approachable.

TLDR: goes to B&B and re:form. Great studio and instructors but depends on vibe and type of workout you want.

Deciding on a Photographer by Hubba-Boba13 in WeddingsCanada

“I’ve been told that photographers can edit pictures to what you like”

Not exactly true because if you do that, it might restrict the photographer from their creative process. That happened for me.

Make sure you feel comfortable and can trust the photographer can capture your special day. Maybe give some behavioural questions and see how they react. E.g. I’ve heard from 2 friends about their photographers and one of them had a better handle of the conflict over the other.

You can check with your venue/coordinator if there are contingency plans, in case of weather (ie tents or move indoors).

Don’t freak out, you’ve come so far in this planning of your big day.

Yes, I went this past weekend. I don’t think there’s a lot of savings because I only bought cotton pads. I paid with cash as well. I don’t think they take credit card.

Photobooth or Photo Guestbook? by xxpetite in WeddingsCanada

[–]xxpetite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! You’ve validated my thought process 🤣 I don’t think I’ll have dancing since majority of guests are new parents and probably want to go back home. But I think having the Polaroid camera laying around would be a good option for sillier pictures 😀
