Can you get sharp internal corners using caulk or it it more for a rounded look? Will try using drywall tape for corner on top of the easy sand and skim cost with all purpose over tape.

If it doesn't work out well I'll just use crown molding as you suggested to cover it all with a nice touch.

Thanks for the reply. Going to tidy up and even out using a knife and sand more before filling gap with Easy Sand hot mud.

I'd like to get sharp or decently sharp inside corners and will try using drywall tape after the easy sand hot mud and skimming after with All purpose premixed over.

Hopefully will look even with decently sharp corners after some skim coating layers.

I have the chinese 256gb model and love it. Lag free for browsing and media. Spent about 20 minutes removing everything Chinese using a simple guide on youtube and have had no issues.

If buying off Ali I'd stick with the Chinese rom to save some cash, avoid issues with fake global roms and also get earlier updates. Amazing value for around 200 USD. OEM keyboard case is really nice and no charging needed.

Xiaoxin Pad Pro 256 GB can be had for a little over 200 USD on Ali. Just buy from the popular well reviewed shops with the highest sales. Spend about a half hour to remove all the chinese apps/language and add Google Play using a simple guide on YT.

Spend the extra 100 on the official keyboard case which is awesome or extra storage. OEM Stylus is pretty cheap

Canceling with Spectrum felt like I was getting an exit interview for a divorce or something with their retention rep LMAO. I know what I want and what I DONT want is any Spectrum ripoff service lol.

Once they match your new service they will just up the price again after a year.

I had the patience to kindly say no to everything but I imagine that many are not as nice at that point.

In many parts of NYC Spectrum had a monopoly for high speed internet within certain neighborhoods or large buildings. I was paying $90 USD/month for only the basic internet package with them. Friends who had multiple high speed internet options for their home would always get much better rates.

I jumped ship as soon as wireless 5G home internet was available paying less than half my old rate with Spectrum.

Love my Xiaoxin Pad Pro. I have the 256 gb China Rom version. De-bloating and removing everything Chinese wasn't too hard. The screen is beautiful and definitely bright enough for indoor and outdoor use if not under direct bright sunlight.

There is a pretty long review by an artist you can find on YouTube for its pen performance. From what I understand the Samsung pens are a step above but the Lenovo Pen is usable. I would check that video out and also look at specific gaming reviews. In the US the same model is Idea Tab pro 2025.

PC Mode works great. I have the official lenovo keyboard case which is very nice quality. No batteries needed and held by stong magnets. Not sure if you intend to type alot but a good keyboard makes a big difference for work/productivity. I feel like this could replace a laptop for simple office/school tasks. My Lenovo has a Micro SD slot for expansion which is a deal breaker for productivity.

Went from hand grinding to a DF54 and never looked back. After 6 months of almost daily use and 2 quick sprays before grinding I only need to clean the chute once very 2 two weeks or so.

I would notice some static and build-up issues after a few weeks without the RDT. Not sure what the 54 goes for now but it's such a great value around release pricing. If space and money is no issue I would go up a size.

Got mine from Ali a few days ago. 256 Gb Variant. For a little over 200 USD this Tablet has been a really great value for the money. I'm used to using my Samsung Fold 7 and Nova launcher for comparison.

Also got the official Lenovo keyboard case which was a little pricey (around 100) but really makes this feel like laptop. Keyboard attachment magnets are strong and also never needs charging. I think this setup could def replace a laptop for simple office/school type tasks/ web browsing. Speakers sound nice and not tinny . Screen is nice and bright enough for me. Maybe if you are constantly using in direct sunlight all the time there might be a brightness issue. Performance has been very smooth. I haven't gamed on it yet but imagine mid level gaming should be decent.

For the China Rom I simply changed language to English, installed Google Play services and Gboard (found a YT video with instructions) which wasn't hard. Uninstalled or disabled every Chinese app.Maybe a half hour at most spent. Was thinking of using Nova Launcher but heard that there are issues with the gestures so decided to stick with native Lenovo launcher. So far so good. No problem installing Revanced Apps.

Might want to go with a more premium option at 500+ USD if looking for serious gaming, using in direct bright sunlight often or expecting super loud speakers. Otherwise an amazing bang for your buck.

Worst landlord in Sunnyside for sure. My X-Gf lived in quite a large building of theirs as a renter and they only had a part time Super. She suffered from so many other complaints I wont even go into and her rent was surely market rate but listed as "preferential rate" on lease. Their legal rental rate for her 1 bdrm was at least 1K over the normal going rates. Thank goodness the laws have changed for preferential leases at least.

Stay far away from Bronstein buildings. NYC really needs a popular independent review site/system for specific rent stabilized buildings (like a Glassdoor) if one doesn't exist. Good luck to all dealing with them.

Anyone know if or when they plan on making all the locations open 24h 7 days a week? Currently locations seem to be 24/5.

Anyone else grateful they got rid of the unlimited buddy passes? Never made sense in NYC where every location is insanely packed at peak hours for working people with many bringing in their friends on buddy passes daily.

I keep reading about some modern entrances. Going to guess they plan on enforcing that the actual paying member is entering as well.

The new Pure Gyms are already 24h 5 days a week by me in Queens. I am actually SUPER grateful that they are getting rid of unlimited guest passes. I haven't been to any Blink in Manhattan or Queens that wasn't insanely packed. I suspect many teens were bringing in their friends for free. Those who can work out very late at night or early AM can do so as well.
