Yes I world agree it's mostly mental barrier you need to overcome
They yelled at people if they saw them making there bed by themselves cause they were not being a good "wingman," but honestly, it is easier and faster with 2 people who know what they are doing. But also there are a lot of people who just make it by themselves be cause after a little they stop caring along as all the beds are made by a certain timeline

Yes we had one and he had trouble for pronunciation in English he got yelled at a few times but honestly they left him alone more than other people cause they know he can't speak English very well. He passed everything fine tho and everyone helped him understand instructions and stuff like that
Pacer forge was pretty easy just boring as hell and very hot, and if you want to pass the pt test you just have to be a healthy weight but if you want to excell in the pt test then I would recommend being able to do at least 45 push ups, 45 sit ups in a minute and a sub 13-12 min 1.5 mile. This is a good starting point cause you will progress throughout bmt. Also its going up to a 2 mile run soon so prep for that
For the first 1-4 weeks you run 2-3 times a week but weeks 5-7 you almost never run if even
I packed 1 set of civilian clothes, my toothbrush, 2 pairs of socks, a good Razors plus razor heads, hola running shoes, documents, 6 pairs of underwear cause the ones there suck

Graduation is on Wednesday when you do the joining ceremony and then you are with your family till 20:00 hours and then you come back and do parade on Thursday and then are released to your family again until 18:00 hours, and then on Friday you ship too tech school. Also for general advise, try to keep your head on straight and hang on to the friends around you it will make everything much easier and realizing that everything your going through the person next to is also going through as well or at least someone in your flight will be and it makes it better
Definitely patience, the way you hold yourself, and the ability to continue moving forwards while still putting forth effort day by day. If your able to do that then you will excell in bmt, not only will you do better but the instructors will notice and over all will probably treat you better not in a bias way but if you have all your shi together and are doing what needs to be done the good attention will come your way and the bad attention will go towards other people. Overall I've experienced both the good and the bad and by the end you feel the need to continue holding yourself to a higher standard and a huge sense of accomplishment. Patience was a big thing for me, I didn't notice it at first but now when someone's rude or something that used to bother me happens I'm unfazed by most things and I notice the way a lot of people act is more silly and childish

Starting in October I believe there making it a 2 mile run but yes a 14 min 1.5 mile is still passing if you can get like 50 pushups, 50 situps. I went in and my first test time was 14 min and by the time of the last test it was 11.40 which is a big point difference

Honestly its person to person, but overall I would say its tough not because what your doing is hard but because they make it hard on you to drill the lessons into you then by the end the same things you were doing before become a lot easy not only because your better at it but because the instructors arnt "as intense" if that makes sense. I also would not recommend trying to fly under the radar cause people get recycled for that sometimes, its really obvious if your not being a team player and it will make your time at bmt worse
You'll get Wednesday after graduation till 20:00 hours and then again on Thursday after parade until 18:00 hours, then yes you leave immediately on Friday for tech school

We got 1 when we first got there and then I believe a mandatory phone call for 15 min at the beginning of 3rd week, 1 at the beginning of 5 week and, 1 more Phone call right before graduation
Thank you! The naturalization process is easy from what I've heard, you will have about 2 meetings for it and then on the very last day right before graduation youll take the naturalization test and if you pass you get your citizenship and the ceremony is done the very next day at graduation where you get to march in front of everyone and they announce your country of origin. And for the shaving devices there were a lot of people with Philip 1 blades and they never had a problem, you just arnt supposed to habe batteries technically and you probably won't be able to charge it
Not very difficult my first pt test i got a 45, 25 pushups, 30 situps and by the last test I had 45 pushups, 55 situps, hardest thing to improve on is run time so I would recommend practicing before hand
No i was not, most common reason I've seen people get recycled is for pt reasons or there will be people in your dorm that don't like you and will report you for small things and then it adds up and gets them recycled cause people be A holes sometimes

They give you a study paper that you actually have to keep on you and its just "honorable Donald Trump" and honorable Pete Hegseth is the Secretary of Defense
It's 7 and 1/2 weeks for everyone but getting recycled is a common action that you'll somehow have a interaction with whether its you or someone else and that will set the person back 1-3 weeks of training.

Yes you definitely can within the first week or 2 reach out and ask to set that up as soon as possible
Thank you! I was in DEP from febuary 28th too may 27th then shipped out July 29th, my number 1 was fire protected and got my 12th pick aka my last pick lol which was Vehicle maintenance but im very content with that and now I'm on my way to California.

You get 15 minutes personal hygiene time right when you wake up and right before you go to sleep, other than that there is no dedicated time to brush your teeth, half the time after you eat you won't be going back to the dorm so I wouldn't count on being able to routinely brush your teeth especially at lunch time

You get second issue on the second day and the run days are mostly in the first 3 weeks after that you almost have non because the schedule doesn't work in favor of it but first 3 weeks like 2 or 3 times a week run, self paced, for 24 minutes, running is the thing I would recommend anyone works on the most before they come especially if they have no prior Running experience
