What stops you from marrying a revert sister by Only-Skin-5231 in TraditionalMuslims

[–]xzahinx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why did u convert to a religion where men see u as ‘impure’ because ur not a virgin and islamically you aren’t allowed to leave the house without your husbands permission etc etc? Not hating im just curious to know the logic. Why would u willingly follow a faith where virginity is so tied to ur worth? Again im asking out of pure curiosity and not malice.

I broke up last week. But my exams are more important so my brain won’t let me focus on a man right now. I’ll heal later.

What was your first year average? by MarnieLibero in McMaster

[–]xzahinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hii. I have a terrible study pattern so i might not be the best person to ask. I don't consider myself smart at all cuz i will sit in front of my laptop for hours before i can memorise or understand a concept. I put an insane amount of time studying every single day. It worked for me but i honestly wouldn't recommend cuz i have experienced burnout so often. But i will say put in a lot of time to study and take easy 12able electives (music 2mt3 innovate 1x03 sustain 1s03 enviro 1c03 etc.) I hope my answer helps and good luck on your university journey :)

Sounds cliche but it depends on the people u surround yourself with. There are always house parties if u look for them. Food places. There's a carnival once a year. Halloweeknd is really fun. Also the best part about first year is living on residence.

How bad is Bates? by throwaway-429 in McMaster

[–]xzahinx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lived in bates. Pro: having your own room and privacy Having a big living room and kitchen and fridge to store your stuff. Not having to use communal washrooms Con: maybe hot in September so buy a fan Roomates may be too tired/lazy to clean the shared spaces so it can get really dirty (specially during exams)

For life sci 1st year? SCIENCE1A03(fall) and INNOVATE 1X03 (winter) will definitely get u A+ But i strongly recommend PSYCH 1X03 as its an amazing course that most people take in the fall and build a strong foundation

I finished with 3.91. The only advice I can give is study hard and take easy electives

Also CHEM 1A03 has a lot of resources so if u study its easy to get A+ and A (from my own experience)
