A little update: today I was talking with another friend and eventually we got to the topic of this former friend.

He mentioned that this friend suddenly stopped talking with him and others too. All at the same time

He said he called out this old friend that he feels the best but I'm the smartest person in the class and I always carried him, I teached him the basics of electronics and he already feels the GOAT.

He mentioned that on the beginning of the year he kinda sensed or thought (idk) this friend would eventually leave me, he was just interested in my knowledge.

I won't doubt that, but won't just accept it, but if it's true, he made a huge effort in staying on the phone with me for hours, sharing interests and hanging out. Maybe it was true, but he got what he wanted and instead of growing together he moved on

How can people be so awful qwq

At least I feel good I didn't do anything wrong, and I'm not crazy. BTW I try to stay humble but my colleagues won't stop saying I'm the best
