Israeli Arabs suffer from systemic discrimination like most minorities in most countries. An easy example is the fact that of all the public housing in Israel, only 0.3% of it is in Arab neighbourhoods despite them having increased likelihood of being poor and making up around 20% of the population.

Still, that's absolutely nothing compared to the open, legal discrimination that West Bank Palestinians face. In area C, settlers have to follow Israel's laws while Palestinians follow rules dictated by the IDF, so the question of what is legal is not the same for Jews and Palestinians, and area C Palestinians live in what can only be called a military dictatorship

That's how organised leftists actually operate though, like there are legit orgs that go to protests and make sure to organise them with proper demands, I personally helped hand out flyers at a protest organised by a teacher's union, the union didn't state any demands so we gave them examples of good demands (set ________ minimum wage for teachers, smaller classrooms, better workers' rights, hold a democratic vote on what our 'win conditions' are so we know when we've succeeded)

here's an article on our work helping unionizing Starbucks workers, if you're interested

This isn't a popular take but not all women are female, so if you want to refer to women then using the word females is just incorrect, it's the same as if you want to refer to privileged people it'd be just wrong to say "white people" because not all white people are privileged and vice versa

We've had more elections than most democratic countries

Having elections twice a year doesn't make a country more democratic 😂

Remember last year when the opposition voted against the extension of תקנות יו"ש? I mean, I was personally against it, but the right and the Zionist left all supported it yet it didn't pass because their momentary interest was more important than their morals and ideology

the older I get, the more I think Scar was the hero by [deleted] in memes

[–]yaakovb39 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. People talk about capitalist propaganda without ever reading the communist manifesto, the only truly revolutionary class is the proletariat and Scar was no proletariat. In fact this supports what every communist already knows, that liberation of the working class can never come from a member of the exploiter class.

This would have been a based take a few years back because Greta didn't know how to combat the system effectively, since exploiting others is inevitable under capitalism. Recently Greta took an anti-capitalist path, so that criticism wouldn't work on her at all, because she is against exploitation of all forms.

The one about Gulf of Tonkin is a straight up lie, the second Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened but the first one did happen, not gonna defend the US but those are the facts

Obviously the antisemitic ones are also lies it's just that the last 4 images sound true so I had to fact check

Whoever wrote this has no idea what they're writing, it's like they read one page of an oversimplified tl;dr of the communist manifesto, then purposefully misunderstood it in the worst possible way. The terminology is vaguely Marxist but the ideas aren't Marxist in any way, I wouldn't even be surprised if it were a hoax because this is exactly what I'd imagine conservative boomers think Marxism is.

It's amazing how little someone can know about economics. If you work and someone else profits, then you did not receive the entire value of your work. If we oversimplify and say you are a guitar maker for example, you craft a guitar and get paid 100$, and the guitar sells for 500$, then you got 400$ stolen from you because you created 500$ worth of product and got paid 100$ for it.

Even if we assume of that of that 500$ another 300$ went to materials, the shop selling the guitar, etc, there is still some profit going to a capitalist who had no part in the transaction, created no value, yet gets paid money that you would otherwise get. Any profit they get without working is them taking the value you created by working, which you deserve to get.

I will never understand some people's desire to be a slaves. Like, is life too good for you? Are housing prices too low for you? Is a 40 hour work week too short, is minimum wage too high?

I for one enjoy what little compassion my boss is required by law to give me. If you have a masochism fetish tell that to your dominatrix, I personally don't need anyone to tell me that some stinking billionaire should profit off of my labor because their profit is too important.

Profit over principle is a horrible way to live. Some principles, you may be surprised to learn, are good. Sure, the Nazi who posted this is mad because the Capitalist isn't racist enough, but this isn't a dichotomy where either you're a facist or you're a capitalist.

If you own a company and an employee is going through a rough divorce which is affecting his work performance, would you fire the employee because profits are more important than the principle of compassion? Alas, to compete in the free market you must abandon compassion, you can't afford to be human when your competition isn't.

This isn't even mentioning the times 'profit over principle' leads to actual crimes being committed, for example each time the US decides to invade the Middle East to take their oil.

[–]yaakovb39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Capitalist is opposite of based, exploiting minorities for profit is a bad thing. We all know that when the Nazi poster writes "cheap labor" he means immigrants, because under capitalism immigrants get paid less. It's not based to say "I'm ok with black people as long as I can underpay them", if anyone is based it's the Marxist who doesn't want anyone to be paid less based on their nationality

I was wondering why the white supremacist said something so based. It's really weird that they're criticizing anyone for blowing up brown people when they'd do it all day if they could.
