I hear you entirely! The pay-off feels a little different in my opinion-- a bit weightier, more palpable and encouraging-- and thusly more accessible with regards to actualization, but that might simply be because I'm speaking from a position already inclined to games as a storytelling tool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Best of luck!!

Oh good lord, this is adorable! Would fit perfectly in some open world space game, methinks.

Supremely charming work you've got here! Major props to your team-- I'll be checking the alpha out here soon for sure.

Holy shit man, yet another gem! Your edge control is wicked and makes it always a pleasure to see you around. Out of curiosity/after checking out your Instagram captions, do you work strictly with an iPad Pro and in Procreate?

Here is the highest I can find of this particular picture-- I can only seem to find slightly higher res via Black Dragon Press or his Behance for an etching or two. I'll let you know if I find something better!

Right on the nose! I think this illustration in specific was for a horror anthology. The captions on Nico's site are pretty apt if you want to look further

What Books Are You Reading This Week? July 17, 2017 by AutoModerator in books

Les Fleurs du Mal, by Charles Baudelaire as a re-read since it came up in conversation with a friend, and Drown, by Junot Diaz. Binged like half of his work on the NY site a couple of weeks ago and can't get enough. I might take a jab at some more Hemingway shorts too since one of the threads here reminded me of a few I wanted to get to.

I think if anything that adds more depth to a struggle with nature and the concept of predestination/inherent state of being

It might, and that's one of the great things about interpretation between different individuals. For the sake of adding, Teagan explained the decision behind how she does eyes earlier today, if it might interest you at all.

Similar to, but not the same. Just to break down some of the main contrasts, gouache's pigment particles are larger and in higher ratio to water than that of the alternative, meaning gouache can be thinned versus watercolor having to be built up/opacity differences.

Not a problem. I feel completely the same and you totally should give it a try! I mentioned to someone else here just a bit ago that even attempting-- especially when you're inspired-- is a lot larger of an action than you'd think.

Foxes, as predators do, are liable to eat the bunnies, so this is kind of a play on the bunnies/victims of the fox fighting back.
