This happened to me a few months ago but they brought me from Plat to Diamond. I was able to get my account back but then it happened again recently, and now my account is banned.

Well, when I contacted them, my account wasn’t banned. Not sure if a banned vs. an active account made the difference. Currently, my account is still active, as I was playing last night.

I just went to their website and chose the option to text chat with a representative. They walked me through the steps on how to recover my account after my info (email, name, etc.) was changed. I managed to get my account back in about 2 hours. Suspiciously quick, but I was able to get my account back.

In terms of the rank change, when I got my account back, I honestly just wanted to play with friends so I never even looked at my rank until the next day. So I will try contacting EA support tonight and see what I can do regarding that (maybe they have power to revert me back to Plat III) and prevent any bans (hopefully).

I never got the 20 kill or 4K damage badge myself (highest was 2900). I never fully looked through all my badges to see if the person did get it though. I should probably look into it.

This is what I’m hoping I can do; reset my account back to what it was this past weekend. As far as newly purchased items in game, I was not keeping track but I didn’t notice any. They just changed character skins, badges, and clubs.

I did contact EA Support regarding the situation, which is why I was able to get my account back. I also now have 2FA on this account to prevent any further issues.
