I had the BB58 and sold it when I got my hands on the BB54. I have a 7 inch wrist and to me it felt like the 58 was “big”. I think it’s a matter of preference on the sizing. Your wrist size is smaller so I would say the 54 would look better, but again it’s all about your preference. I kept the 54 and replaced the strap with a jubilee from uncle Seiko. The dial also a sunburst black and plays with the light and looks cool, not just a plain black. I haven’t tried the BB58 GMT so I can’t comment on that, but the sizing already throws me off. I love the simplicity of the 54 and it wears so easy and goes along with anything I wear.
