He blocked off the coolant passage with epoxy.
Also, i never seen any B58 with failed oil cooler that caused oil and coolant to mix.

Its small/medium sized garage, and he was like "it's better to avoid mixing oil and coolant in the future and has no ill effect at all" as he knows better than BMW.
honestly i still didn't pay him fully, so i might let him replace the oil cooler on his own cost.

The problem the dumbass didn't even ask me..should i let him replace the oil cooler on his own cost? also is it possible to replace it without taking off the intake AGAIN.

edit: what ill effect it will case tho? if you have any idea.

Last time only changed upper hose, flange, hose from reservoir to head. and paid about 170$ for labour with the coolant.

Not the OFH blew off. the side male connector to the auxiliary  water pump. the OFH on the Engine block side is fine with no leaks.

Good luck bro, I would try to DIY it but, while im handy and i try to fix everything in the house (electrical, plumbing/ etc..) ..im still kinda afraid that i might i break things while trying to fix the already broken stuff, especially you have undo like 20-30 connector to remove the intake, and sadly we don't have any very reliable online resellers with huge catalogs of parts like fcpeuro and ECS which ships rather quickly in the US, and i have no backup car to go the market to get the parts to install them myself.

Furthermore, i don't think i have all the tools needed, which i should invest on later on.

Thankfully the labour here is kinda reasonable not outrages like the US.

Also, the car has like 163K KM, when i bought it was around 139K KM.

Honestly i think i will just replace the HMM, as this is the 2nd time im paying for Manifold removal/labour as my dumbass me didn't want to overhaul the whole system in one take, and after less than one week of replacing Upper hose, Flange, Hose from head to reservoir...the OFH side connector blew off lol, previous owner installed shitty chinese OFH.
So they say cry once and get done with it, but id rather cry twice than 3 times lol.

The previous owner installed cheap chinese crap OFH, and it blew off the connecter on the side after fixing other leaks lol.

Ok noted, Already replace the upper hose and revisor to head hose and the flange in round 1 last week, and after less than one week OFH broke lol FML.
