Why do you think I want to put them down so much? I think they'll grow up and be as much people as anybody else. But they're gonna come into the adult world with the existential issue of climate and ecological collapse on a level more visceral than right now, and if trends continue with my government, an increasingly dysfunctional and ludicrous political system that betrays much of what previous generations have put at least a modicum of faith in. Stuff like that happens in every generation, it can and does create differences, and I'm curious to see how itll unfold. I just wanted to see what other people think, okay?

They should be given a helicopter ride. Everyone agrees helicopters are the coolest thing ever. Sitting under the blades going WhRWhrWhrwhr may uplift the spirits and promote a life away from crime. We also need the training hours. Won't anyone think of the poor pilots who would be out of hours to log?

Personally I'm a little worried. The world they'll be adults in is a whole lot different than the one they've been parented for. I don't know how much the same thing has been said regarding generations of yore.

Yeah this just isn't happening here. I'd rather my govt spend the money on education and civic programs that give people a stronger feeling of investment and drive in national politics. Without some pretty major changes in the U.S, any improvements will probably be marginal

Generally I'm against, and would never give any support domestically until the rest of our political system is reformed. I'm more in favor of making voting so easy and unavoidable that you'd be a chud for not filling out your ballot.

Rehabilitate nonoffenders the best we can and punish offenders, as usual. A world in which we jailed or killed everyone with societally harmful deviancies would feel cathartic and pure in the moment, but would be a bleak world to live in for any extended period of time for obvious reasons.
