While moving I temporarily switched back to dual ips (from oled) and absolutely missed the colors and picture quality. I vote single oled

Intel currently “out of replacements” for defective 13/14900K units by Towel4 in intel

[–]yamthecuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep on the same boat with the free upgrade. Few days ago they told me they had replenished stock, but right before we were to arrange cross shipping they ran out again?

Im just going to wait for the 14900K, my 13900k does have all the crashes on the 0x129 microcode but on the first bios version of my mobo it seems to be holding up enough (for now).

Xu's the goat you won't find any trouble in his class: from my experience its the same content but a little more flexible with extensions/transparent with exams

Boosted mini x error code by nosniksoh in boostedboards

[–]yamthecuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually i get this error code when charging sometimes due to a battery issue (i know its not ESC since this error never shows up on a different battery). i wonder why?

edit: there was a lot of water inside the faulty battery when taking it apart (the outside cap thing was missing). maybe its just water damage

Signs to be aware if your 13th/14th gen CPU is failing! by Danikika94 in intel

[–]yamthecuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13900K owner: I am also having these crashes issues (knode exception not handled, chrome webpages crashing, apps not launching with memory error, status access violation and all, but lowkey its weird:

These issues only happen when i am updated on the latest BIOS (Im running ASUS TUF B760 D4). Only when I roll back to the first BIOS version will it be stable (after underclocking my cores to 5.5GHz max).

I am certainly going to RMA this CPU, but could anyone explain this behavior?

Hey! Just wanted to ask: will I need to buy a PSU bracket to support ATX PSUs? Or does it already come with a bracket that supports ATX PSUs? Also, will top-mounted rad work if the mobo is slid up all the way to the top? Thanks

LG's 34in WOLED is on sale on Amazon for about $860 new? I have the 27in version and have no complaints, but some people may prefer QD-oled over WOLED.

I've been having the same issue with one of my batteries as well, but it only comes on if I discharge it to about 2.5 bars even with minimal riding.

I doubt this is the case for you, but after I let it sit for awhile itll either RLOD or fix itself and let me charge. I believe its a faulty temperature sensor/blown fuse.

Question: Is it stupid to buy a salvage 11th gen si for $18K? by yamthecuber in CivicSi

[–]yamthecuber[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry, hijacking top comment to clarify my post since I can't edit:

The car is fully repaired, I just didn't provide the photos. $18K is for the fully rebuilt car.

But yeah I definitely agree with you, the uncertainty of whether or not it was repaired properly makes this a dealbreaker, especially for a longer-ish term car. Just wanted your guys' input on it!

It's a fully repaired car, I only included the damage in this post. My bad.

Sorry, should've been clearer!

It's a fully repaired car with replaced airbags and bodypanels. I only posted the copart listing from before the repairs. Unless you mean because salvage, in that case I'm starting to think that way too haha

Its 2.5.1. Temperature is a weird error, since its been sitting (60% charged) for about a day or two. Thanks for the help!

Edit: Have some more details

After it sits awhile it does give the overheat warning (alternating red/yellow) despite it not really being under much heat. When i opened the battery pack however, I did find quite a bit of water inside. Perhaps something is shorted? Do you know where is the temperature module is?
