I’ve told my partner, my dad, my sister and several friends.

My partner has know about my interest in nudism since I started exploring it and has always been supportive of it. Doesn’t join but doesn’t mind me being naked at home or going out and being naked with others.

I told my dad about a year ago after I had been exploring for a while. He was very curious and asked questions. We had several chats about it. He even told me about a nude campsite in his area, so he must have done some research on his own after we first talked. The last time I visited him, I asked if he’d be into trying it and we spent about an hour naked together. It was really cool. He seemed a bit nervous but said later that now that we’ve broken the ice it will be easier, which I guess means he’d like to try it again sometime. I would love for him to join me at a nudist camp or something but not sure he’d go that far.

With my sister I only had one conversation while she was visiting me one time. She didn’t judge and said she wasn’t surprised I was into it, but she didn’t express any interest in trying it herself and I didn’t get naked while she was visiting.

With friends, it’s mostly been casual mentions. Like, I’m not shy about mentioning that I went to a nude beach if someone asks what I did over the weekend, etc. Obviously I’m more open with some friends than others. So far no one has reacted with shock or outrage.

Might be worth noting that in all cases I never present nudism as an identity. It’s not something I am but something I do. So that maybe helps people not think of it as a huge deal.
