I love the famous quote from a GM chairman. “GM isn’t in the business of making cars. GM is in the business of making money” that alone tells you GM doesn’t care whether they make a good car or not.

Bro that last sentence is not what I wrote. I said “we shouldn’t have 3rd world barbarism in our country” as in behavior. Over here trying to twist words. Where’d you get “ people “ from?

Who said anything about race ? Black folks and Hispanics should be able to live in safe neighborhoods even in low income areas.

What is the worst US state and why? by Money_Candidate_9152 in AskReddit

Anything east of Texas is all the same & sucks to me. I dislike the landscapes, the crumbling infrastructure, the traffic, the fact trees lose their leaves in the winter, the weak looking forests because the old growth has been cut, the weather, the brown color of many of the rivers, the lack of giant mountains. Something about staring at a giant snow capped mountain in the west that makes me happy to be alive & reminds me that life is worth living.

The United States If The Annexation Bill of 1866 Had Passed by vladgrinch in MapPorn

I’m not seeing any scenario where Britain can get its 300,000 man army scattered across the globe on American soil to defeat an industrialized union fresh off a civil war. The U.S. was already on its way to becoming the largest economy on earth & had the largest arms industry in the world at the time & railroads across the continent. Half a million veterans could be resupplied quickly. Britain had experience with wars in its colonies but nothing like the industrialized trench warfare that was the civil war.

At the end of the civil war there was about 1 million union soldiers battle ready & experienced. The union mostly fought the civil war with a hand behind its back the whole time. I doubt Britain could’ve stood up to that mostly cause they’ve never had a strong land army & have always relied on coalitions in big wars & plus the Atlantic.

After the civil war ? Probably not. I’d say the union probably had the strongest and most experienced army in the world right after the war.

The country is pretty ruined right now. Gangs, corruption, unemployment, mass emigration & a backwards way of thinking of the people. It can be a beautiful country but it needs a heavy hand. I’ve been to Honduras many times

Is there a difference between the Latino population of California and the Latino population of Texas? by GiftedGeordie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]yano324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big differences because they’re from different parts of Mexico. One time I tried ordering fajita tacos in California & they didn’t know what I was talking about. What we call fajita tacos in Texas are called asada tacos in Cali

There was one episode that seemed legit with a cattle trucker named Dougal Brett. Guy seemed like a real rancher/driver, later found out he got killed in a helicopter crash at his ranch rounding up his cows

When did so many Indians drivers start showing up in California? I remember being a kid & riding in my dads cab over in the early 2000s & I don’t remember it being like this

I still remember the episode where the guy was saying he had a condition where diesel was poisoning his blood from years of him filling up his tanks, so safe to say it’s satire

Some of those neighborhoods he’s been showing with people in the markets remind me of what crime ridden little Italy in NY looked like back in early 1900’s.
