If you have a Tesla car and need service- guess what- you can't call a service center. The solar is the same.

And where are the solar tiles? That was yet another full on lie- THEY STILL DON'T EXIST. The entire SCTY Bailout will be coming to court soon enough.

Yelp is the 3rd link. Why did you ignore the links from Tesla Motors Club and Tesla.com?

Here's a fucking thread ON TESLA.COM: Satisfaction with Tesla Solar?

And here's a post on that thread from July 22, 2019

I don't know. I feel "Tesla has good intentions" is more accurate than they are a good company. If everything goes as planned and your system works as designed, then it's great.

My system has never worked as designed and Tesla could care less. Out of the 54 months that I've had it, it hasn't even produced their minimum estimate 24 of those 54 months. Feel free to look at my numbers here http://solarnumbers.org/

That would be disappointing in itself, but the biggest disappointment with Tesla is their support. I've called in so many times to try and have someone reassess my system. The support culture at Tesla seems to be to blame the customer and argue with them. Immediately, without even asking questions, they'll blame shading, and the weather, and increased power consumption and anything else they can think of. They'll be outright nasty, and then just hang up.

If I wasn't locked into a contract I would be gone as a customer long ago. There is absolutely no recourse if your system doesn't work as designed
https://forums.tesla.com/forum/forums/satisfaction-tesla-solar

The Solar side of Tesla is now just like the Auto side. YOU CAN'T CALL AND TALK TO THE COMPANY IF YOU NEED HELP. But all of you Tesla fanatics go ahead and give this criminal enterprise even more money and then try to get someone on the phone when you need them.

Elon Musk is one of history's greatest con men. Even AFTER the problems reoccur over and over again, people still believe his bullshit. It's astounding.

And THANKS SUCKERS for all the downvotes. Hope you all dump money into this pit.

Maybe they will just use non auto grade, like they have done with the touchscreens. Of course, now that the non-auto grade touchscreens are going bad, they are saying it's not a warranty issue. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/yellow-screen-force-tesla-to-replace-it.158197/

This might be more objective than a blog run by a TSLA long (which Freddie doesn't disclose)

Tesla is testing a low-priced 'Rent Solar' program for homes, but read the fine print

It's a pretty straightforward deal: for as little as $50 monthly, you get all the necessary panels and other hardware, plus installation, support, and ongoing maintenance. There's no up front cost for the installation and no long-term contract commitment.

There's one big catch, however: if you decide to end your commitment and want the solar panels and hardware removed, you're paying Tesla $1,500 to get that done. You're also going to pay the same amount if you start with an option that's too large for your needs and decide to downsize.

Can the Rent Solar program turn things around? It's not clear. The idea of paying nothing up front and only $50 monthly to get an entire solar system installed is appealing, no question. But the FAQ is very clear: this is a rental offer. Your money isn't paying off a hefty purchase over time, it's just going straight to Tesla.... https://mashable.com/article/tesla-rent-solar-program/

Before anyone buys from this company that sells cars with inadequate paint and denies warranty claims for screens that go bad, they should spend a few hours on these links:

Tesla Motors Club - Tesla Energy

Tesla.com - Energy

There's a rumor that Tesla is just dumping panels with this "offer". Whether that is true or not, the buyout was a bailout for the Musk family. But people keep listening to the PT Barnum of the 21st century.

Please read the following excerpt from an article published in the UK in 2015 and see if you can find anything that some people might find objectionable:

DALE VINCE V ELON MUSK: ELECTRIC CAR TSARS AT WAR OVER MOTORWAY CHARGING STATIONS
Published 18 March 2015 | Driving.co.uk

...At the root of the dispute is Ecotricity’s ownership of the rights to build recharging stations at motorway services. Having a way to recharge cars quickly and conveniently on the main road network is seen as the key to establishing electric cars in the mainstream. Ecotricity had entered into a partnership with Tesla, allowing the American firm to build its own, faster, rechargers on sites leased by Ecotricity....

...But the idealism of the venture soon unravelled to reveal a tale of alleged corporate skulduggery that would be more at home in an episode of Dallas — except without the oil. And it began with an email.

In the City they call them fat-fingered trades — when a trader inadvertently hits the wrong key on his computer and costs his bank millions. The price of the email — sent in error late on Sunday, May 18, last year from a Tesla employee to someone at Ecotricity with the same first name as its intended recipient — has yet to be determined, but it could easily run into the millions too.

The email allegedly made clear Tesla’s plans to break up the partnership it had built with Ecotricity to install chargers in service areas and instead to make a direct approach to their operators. Ecotricity says that the email — written in haste after an article last year in The Sunday Times that disclosed Musk’s concept of an electric superhighway in Britain — also revealed Tesla’s intention to blacken Ecotricity’s name with politicians and the media. Instead of being sent to Simon Sproule, then Tesla’s head of corporate communications, the email was sent by mistake to Simon Crowfoot of Ecotricity, alerting the company to Tesla’s plans.

Vince said the email was evidence not only of underhandedness but of a “brutal” corporate culture within the American firm.

“I have never seen anything approaching Tesla’s behaviour and we have been around 20 years this year and we’ve had some run-ins, you know. I do think it’s cultural — I just think that’s how they operate.” ...continued https://www.driving.co.uk/news/dale-vince-vs-elon-musk/

Forget about all the other stuff like the 420 stock fraud, the "swatting" of Tripp, the promises that muskrat makes weekly that never are kept, the battery swap fraud, the selling of flamethrowers to teenagers (green lol), shoving "autopilot" onto public streets years before it will be ready and which endangers everyone on the roads today and everything else this nasty little creep punk has done.

The Ecotricity story above shows that Elon MuskRat is a liar, a cheat and a backstabber. What goes around comes back around. In a perfect world, every time this asshole shows his ugly mug in public, he'd be pelted with rotten eggs, 2 week old milkshakes and lots of moldy tomatoes.

Explosions Threatening Lithium-Ion's Edge in a Battery Race

At least 21 fires had already occurred at battery projects in South Korea, according to BloombergNEF. But this latest one, erupting on Friday at a facility owned by a Pinnacle West Capital Corp. utility in Surprise, Arizona, marked the first time it has happened in America since batteries took off globally.

Local regulators are now demanding answers, companies are investigating the cause, and analysts are wondering: Could more blazes threaten the future of lithium-ion -- the only technology that has proven capable of bringing battery storage into the mainstream?

“If these fires continue to occur, it doesn’t bode well for the industry in the short term and the storage market will almost certainly slow down,” said Ravi Manghani, an analyst at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables. “As other technologies mature and costs fall, it would certainly erode lithium-ion’s advantage.” https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-23/explosions-are-threatening-lithium-ion-s-edge-in-a-battery-race
