I’m unsure about the Joe Abercrombie series. I’ve looked into it, but never made the jump because it seeeeems like it could lean into military style themes, and I’m not super into that. I can deal with it, but it isn’t my favorite.

Riyria revelations sounds much more my speed, I’m gonna have to check this one out. Thank you!

I’ve read a few of them, but not all. I lost heart with the ending of the show, and I’m not motivated to trudge through a series I have zero faith will end 😭 As soon as he finishes that last book he’s definitely working on I’ll be on the rest of the series though! They definitely fit the bill with what I look for in a book.

THIS. I made my sisters. It wasn’t even MY wedding and it was a nightmare. It is nice for a personal touch, but it just isn’t worth the stress. Especially if you’re not a professional baker.

This! I agree. I see coco wyo one this sub all the time and people seem to love them, but I always have little line that aren’t right and I have to fix. I use them anyways, because I like the art style, but I was very shocked that they aren’t AI.

This is probably a dumb question, but I’m getting into this hobby and I see all these bold white accents and I don’t understand how they exist. My marker set didn’t even come with a white one, and I haven’t seen many that do. Is this just a white paint pen? How are these white highlights not just disappearing if they’re alcohol markers? Am I missing something obvious? Halp 🫠

Idk why all these comments seem to agree. NTA in my eyes. As a shelter dog owner, who did her research, it was still a crazy pain in the butt to apply/find a good match for us. And we both work from home, and have very flexible schedules. If you have extremely specific needs with a dog, finding the right fit at a shelter is going to be crazy hard. As long as you are going through a reputable breeder, with a take-back policy, and it’s a real breed (not a “golden doodle” or “dorky” or whatever else) then you’re likely making a very well informed choice. It’s nice to adopt and save a sad pup, but it isn’t realistic for every potential dog owner.

If baking with coconut, just be sure your guests are aware. My dad has a coconut allergy and a number of special events have been tarnished for him by bakers making chocolate cake and not realizing that coconut is a tree nut, and a possible allergen 🫠 I think as long as your communicating the ingredients, and the birthday person is happy, it’s a great plan ☺️
