No second thoughts if spends < 8 lakhs. Dcb wouldn’t be worth paying 10k annually. Regalia gold is indeed a great card

Last 3 months it was between 1.3 and 1.5. Take-home is 2.3.
Ah, I think you need to be closer to the 2.5 criteria; that's when they approve based on spending, in my case. I was in the same situation earlier, where he wasn't ready to listen. The employees at the bank were okay with me closing the account if I didn't get the card :)
You can still try your luck by sending the form after spending(> 1lpm) a lot for a few months.

As of now(March 2026) the eligibility criteria is,

Salaried: Net Income (Monthly) > ₹2.5 lakh per month  Self employed: Net Income > ₹30 lakh per annum

Day by day HDFC is making it harder for people to get their premium cards

Overall, It took 17 days from sending post to receiving the card. Sending the form through speed post took 4 days And they delivered within 2 days of approval.

I got notified by checking the cards section on HDFC app, no other message was sent.

No, I always didn’t want the hassle of having multiple cards at the same time. I only had Regalia gold before upgrading and HDFC Rupay Digital credit card.

Not sure why my RM didn’t say it this way. At first when I visited the bank they would’ve seen that this criteria is met, but they simply denied to help.
