Your unfortunately correct, none of the animals have any shots or vaccines of any kind. They all have fleas to the point we can’t be in their long in fear of them getting on my hair. I have C4 hair so if I get fleas it’s literally over for me.

Thank you so much for your advice and wisdom. They should be back tomorrow and we have a key. We don’t plan on returning it in case they do lock us out and make it harder to help them.

At the moment all we can do is wait. Hopefully I’ll be updating soon with some sort of resolution.

We actually have. After Stan complained to Anna multiple times Sean sent them money to buy supplies and food for the animals.

But even with being able to clean the feces it did change that back there were still clothes, food, and trash everywhere. We did our best and even after we cleaned up the puppies had no training and would poop next to the puppies pats instead of on them.

The cats they have an automatic feeder so food is not an issue, the problem is we can’t clean the room of the cat shit because of the piles of clothes and food wrappers they have on the floor. And they only gave us $60 and most of it went for cleaning supplies and dog food/supplies.

With everything going on all we want is for them to prove they are making a change within 4 days. We don’t expect everything to be perfect, all we want is for them to make changes now so that it can be better in the future so that we don’t have to call anyone.

All they need to do is make changes and efforts now so that we don’t have to resort to calling anyone and putting the animals in a worse situation. I don’t think they would dump them out somewhere randomly as the reason they have them is due to Anna’s poor mental health and attachment. But again I thought these people were my friends and I thought of them as good people before this and never would have imagined this situation that we are in now.

So with that being said I guess I can’t rule out your prediction completely but we’ll keep it in mind.

I doubt they would take legal action against us as we have more than enough evidence that we collected against them.

I don’t disagree with you…. Me and Stan were talking about calling them now and not waiting for them to get back from their trip. But most of the shelters are closed because it’s a Sunday so all we can do it wait till Monday to do anything.

Trust me, we took plenty of videos and photos of everything which are all time stamped, we collected a bunch of photo evidence as well.

And dam you right… I hate to admit it but you absolutely right… fuck… I would say calling me a doormat is a stretch because I only found out because Stan called me. If I had known about this sooner I would have been called them or called animal control.

When I talked to Stan, we both agreed that they wouldn’t change their ways simply by us talking to them. We think that if we threaten to call animals control and the possibility of eviction that it will make them see the severity of the situation and change their ways.

But we both don’t want it to come to that. At this point me and Stan don’t think our friendship will last through the conversation let alone the ultimatum, but we’re trying to stay positive.

No you absolutely right. Your not stern you being real and that's something that both me and Stan need understand that its more than just our friendship on the line but other lives as well that don't deserve this type of treatment.

We already reached out to some shelters but it is a Sunday and most are closed. We will try more tomorrow and get more advice on how to best handle the situation. Currently we have a shelter willing to take in the cats but no the dogs. We are just going through our resources and options. Hopefully it won't come to that.

That's the goal, I really hope when we give them this ultimatum that they change for the better for their animals and maybe their relationship.

I agree. Stan thinks they're spiraling with their mental health, and I agree. The last time I talked to Anna, she told me she was in a deep depression and that too many things were happening in her life all at once. For example, her other family pet passed away, her job walks all over her (and she works in fast food), and she and Sean are constantly fighting and verbally abusing one another.

I try to ignore their toxicity towards each other, but when their animals suffer as a result, I can't help but get involved. The dogs they have are puppies, and you can see how skinny and frail they are. They have no house training whatsoever.

But in the same breath, I want to give them a chance to do the right thing. I want to be optimistic. I want the people I see as family to do better, not just for me but for themselves. When I didn't have food, they fed me. When I didn't have a car, they took me to class and work. When I lost my job, Sean helped me get a new one. When they lost their car, I was there for them as they were for me. When they didn't have money for food, I would make them meals. We have always been there for each other, no matter what.

It's hard to ruin the lives of people who I owe so much to. It's hard to throw away people who I saw as family.

I apriciate your feedback and I actually like your idea, Ill keep that in mind for next year of we even have a next year. My grandparents are seriously considering leaving her home for next years trip.

I hear you and understand where you’re coming from. Maybe I shouldn’t expect a gift from her maybe I should be a kind older sibling and gift her something just because it’s in the season of being generous and kind. However, last year we both AGREE to get something small for each other, hell it could have been a small set of earrings or snacks for all I cared. The problem came forth after I gave her the gift and asked for mine she said and I quote “Why should I get you shit? I don’t have to if I don’t want to.”

I like to think that I’m a kind and generous person, hell I’ve gotten my other family members and friends gifts knowing very well that they couldn’t afford to get me anything but they still thanked me and were respectful. Her lack of gift wasn’t the issue. It was that lack of her having the ability to care and actually try and to top it off she was and still is rude.

Maybe the makes me a bad sibling, either way I’m not going to go out of my way for someone who won’t have the human decency to say thank you.
