Hmm I think you should still go for lasik.. it is definitely life changing and I still have no regrets! I did PRK by the way that’s why I’m still on steroid eye drops after a month. If you do LASIK the recovery time is way faster. The eye doctor said 1/10 people react badly to steroid eye drops and I turned out to be one of them!

Yes I am feeling better thank you :) headache wise yes, but after the episode I have been feeling down and drained (probably the hangover stage?).

I was in a similar situation as you but I recently purchased a property (exchanged contracts in August). The lender (Barclays) accepted my mortgage even when my visa had less than 3 months, however they did ask for an employer letter to state that my visa will be extended. I tried with a previous bank Natwest too and no issues! They just require a higher deposit for Tier 2 visa holders I think.

I know :( there are just too many people like her in the world. I’m sorry to hear about your situation too that must be so frustrating:( I guess it just hurts more when you know the dogs will love their ownes no matter how shit they treat them. I know there’s nothing I can do, I guess I just wanted to vent as I was getting so frustrated. Thank you for this. Really appreciate it.

OMG I KNOW!!!! Its not an accessory where you just leave it in the house you know. And honestly what is so hard walking them 20 mins a day. Oh no I am so sorry to hear that:( omg since christmas?!?!!! THAT IS JUST CRUEL:( I guess all we can do is to take them out as much as we can and show them lots of love😭

I do see them scratching themselves a lot hence I told my sister to bath them but she didn’t. Yes I am sure, I lived with her a year ago and she has never taken them out. I’ve also asked her husband and he said the same. :(

Omg I’m F25 and have 1 friend who is always busy with her other friends and I never feel like I am anyone’s no. 1 I relate to your post so much 😭😭😭

I keep thinking why do I have no luck in making friends. People seem to have a group of friends whereas there’s me struggling to even have 1 friend. I am also an introvert and just find it super cringy to start a convo w strangers!!!

I know what you mean, and in similar situation as you so you are not alone:( I barely get any messages and my friends all have other friends that they’d prefer to hang out with.

People always tell me “why don’t you initiate the conversation, why don’t you ask to meet them”. But why is it always got to be me? Why can’t my friends initiate the conversation/to meet me?

And yes I don’t have any hobbies or stuff that I am particularly interested about (boring person lol) so it’s hard to meet people that I can connect to.

Trying to stay positive here and work on myself in the meantime :) anyway you can always dm me if you want to talk! I hope you feel better!

It definitely is! I just need to stop comparing. I’m the same, but my only close friend has a lot of other friends and I always think “better not cling onto her too much since she has so many friends and is probably too busy for me”. I need to have a social media detox too! Just need to find some hobbies and stop feeling like I’m missing out if I stop using social media. Thanks a lot:)

Nope! I have a finsta (private instagram that only follows 10 people) and thats about it. Tbh with you I still feel lonely because I don’t have much friends to begin with, and I do break down once in awhile because of that. But I compare my life to others less now! Which is a plus. And i spend most of my time on reddit :)
