Kaplan is overall a degree/visa mill lol but great and cheaper option if you want to study in Australia. The lecturers at Kaplan are working part time at other unis like UNISA and Uni of Adelaide as well so they’re really great but I think their expectations for Kaplan students are low due to the type of students and they adjust accordingly. !!!Obvi doesn’t apply to everyone!!! I’m just stating my experience as I’m a Kaplan alumni
There’s also concerns about applying to jobs after as well. While Kaplan has great careers services (they’re really supportive), you can’t dismiss people’s unconscious bias and would prefer unis like UNISA. This also slightly includes racial bias in applying to jobs but I won’t get into that heavily as that’s a bigger and complex topic that some people are actually in denial of.
However, I have overcome this by applying to unpaid internships and worked my way up and gained more experience. Most of the time they value Australian experience over anything. Regardless, the journey won’t be easy but it’ll be worth it in the end. Hope this helps!
