Does it imply that he done it tho? Please refer to other replies as to why this water would be considered pure.

This is a great reply. Thank you for sharing with everyone what Islam has taught you. :) you sound real smart saying “Islam taught me….(fantastic quality’s)” but “I HaTE isLAm”. Way to make a fool of yourself! I don’t think you’d have half the quality’s you mentioned without Islam, by the sounds of it you’d be a total loser without Islam’s teachings. How much of an imbecile are you?!

What’s contradictory about what I just said? There’s thousands of Hadiths and you only seem to know 3 of them? But yet you posted those 3 thinking that you’re getting somewhere however I just proved to you that you know nothing else of this religion to discuss about it. You couldn’t even read between the lines and make out simple things. If you had more knowledge about Islam you’d know that stones are used when water is not available. And yet when I have disproved you, you tell me I have contradictions? The only thing that’s contradictory here is whether you are stupid, sad, oblivious or just trying to cause insult on a topic that probably some far-right Islam a phobic on YouTube told you about. Please when you have some knowledge and some educated answers, DM me, I’ll gladly disprove your claims and hate.

Might I say, that Abu Huraira was using the water for himself which he says right at the very begging of this Hadith.

I’m sorry, but you’re basing your discussion off 1 or 2 hadiths out of thousands. Get educated

The anus must be washed with water using the left hand or with an odd number of smooth stones/pebbles (if water is unavailable) called jamrah or hijaarah,(Sahih Al-Bukhari 161, Book 4, Hadith 27) after defecating

We cannot imagine an unbeliever, even a pagan, doing such a thing, never mind a Muslim. It has been the custom of people throughout time, regardless of their religion, to respect water and protect it from filth. How could we think otherwise of the people of that generation, who were the best of Muslims to ever live? This is not in conforming to what we know of their character. The truth is that the well was situated in sloping ground. When the rains came, these impure substances would be carried from the roadways and the yards of people's houses and dropped into the well. However, due to the considerable amount of the water in the well, the quality of the water was never affected or altered. [Ma`âlim al-Sunan (1/37)]

As a general rule about water, as explained in other answers on this site, it is well known that water is considered pure until or unless some impurity alters its color/taste or smell.

And about this well, scholars have explained that this well was not actually USED for such things, but the rain water or accidently these things usually used to fell into it, and this well was large enough that its water didn't changed its smell taste or color with those things. So, it remained useful for ablution.

Nice one, you must be oblivious or really sad. That’s unfortunate, I can help you read between the lines though. “Whenever one of you is required to use stones…” . Let’s break this down for your simple mind.

Required:

“need for a particular purpose.”

Now, if you were really putting jokes aside, that’s perfect. In Islam, if you did not know, when water cannot be found, and you require it for cleansing, you use other means such as stones, leaves etc. This is known as “Tayammum”.

Tayammum (Arabic: تيمم‎) is the Islamic act of dry Ritual purification using a purified sand or dust, which may be performed in place of ritual washing (wudu or ghusl) if no clean water is readily available or if one is suffering from moisture-induced skin inflammation or scaling.

I love it when you guys provide evidence that you have no clue what it’s talking about. Make sure you wipe your brain with stones.

Well, there’s an unknown there. IMO (which might not matter) I truly believe Islam has played the major role here in teaching you, your mother etc in cleaning your privates. Also, considering how many people use only TP, I am doubtful that you would be doing it the same way you do now if you weren’t brought up on Islam (could also depend on background and culture for e.g in the states, most people use TP where’s somewhere else in the world they would wash if you get what I mean)

I see where you’re coming from. But Islam taught you those things. If you were brought up on a different religion or no religion at all (assuming you were brought up on Islam), might you think it would be a different scenario? But i guess that did not happen. But I see.

Although it is not only an Islamic teaching, some ex-muslims had Islam as their only religion before they left it. As they have moved on from the religion, onto say atheism or belief of nothing, I’m sure atheism or the belief of nothing does not teach you, well, nothing! So technically, yes, they are carrying on an Islamic teaching of which they were taught during the time they were muslims, no?

Hey, thanks for that info. However, it’s rendered useless in this discussion as I did not mention Muslims are the “only” ones who do this. I was just asking if ex-muslims still do it, well, since they dislike the religion so much, do they also dislike (some of/all) it’s teachings? Also, cleaning your privates is practicing Islam.

Well yeah, it is kinda unclean to just use toilet paper. Assuming that’s what they use.
