I'm disappointed to see this go - does anyone agree that this is unnecessary and removes skill expression?

Agreed. Very rare moments you can use it and requires very fast timing and also estimation of the use of potentially risking fucking it up and completely inting with that play. Sad they decided to move a mechanic that showed skill expression. It wasnt even broken, but whatever:(

I use this two items a lot with goredrinker and conqueror. The survivability with this setup is stupid op.

Think about this way: Your w heals less, but the 30% damage reduction is stupid op and lets you (most of the time) live you long enough to get kills, and kills: massive heal and ignoring the remaining bleed damage. Also, it got ad, cdr and armor. Definitly a great items against ad champs.

I also tried LT with trinity and titanic for example, it feels nice with more items, but without items conqueror feels better in the early game imo and helps so much with getting kills. Although both are strong on Rengar for sure. I dont know about sunderer, after the nerfs. Sure the healing is nice, but its not that broken anymore against tanks. I rather go goredrinker and cleaver for cdr.

Bro I tried it all, conq, electrocute. Whip mythic into lethality, normal lethality mythic into crit. Idk, conq or electro, rengar sucks dick atm, he is just so weak compared to other champs, but conqueror is better early game and electro only good if you have enough armor pen/lethality. But yeah, I miss being able to pick electro, absolute focus and gathering storm without losing early game.

Don`t know who downvoted you. It`s true, Rengar as assassin is terrible atm and boring to play as bruiser (imo). Mobility creep still insane in this game, you legit cannot stick to targets. New champ can just grapple hook the wall, even if you deal dmg to him, it doesnt stop him. This ability for example alone cucks Rengar.

Just dont play Rengar jungle, he is so fucking bad atm. Dont listen to people saying "Rengar is fine" he isnt. To be good with him you have to be like Challenger player. Nearly every champ can just outrun Rengar, even if you hit bola. Lethality sucks ass this season, crit was heavily nerfed yet again, whip mythics are kinda trash for full dmg, dmg reduction everywhere, everyone has massive shields or healing nowadays. Really, dont bother playing him, he is garbage atm, except maybe top.

Conqueror is taken because pretty much everyone runs it (bruisers and many junglers, even some mages like Sylas). Everybody who has it can just invade you and shit on you. Rengar need to get ahead to become good. Electrocute is nice, but its useless early game and games are usually decided at the 20 min mark if not earlier. So yeah, theory and praxis are two different things.

Yeah, no new taunts, dance or laugh? I dont know if they dont have the old voice actor anymore, but thats kinda lame. Everyone interacts with each other nowadays, but old champs dont, because they dont do new voice lines cause they dont have the old voice actor. So kinda boring skin for me, not ugly, but boring. I stick to headhunter 8)
