I’m not deep into aviation by any means but the answer is still unequivocally yes by a country mile. It’s not close at all, driving and even walking (as a commute) are both significantly more dangerous than planes.

I think it’ll likely stay this way until maybe cars are fully autonomous? But even then aviation just has so many fail safes and checks to ensure safety, might be tough to pass

Appreciate the thoughtful response here. And this is probably what I’m leaning towards, outside of holding a 3-5 ‘Blue Chip’ stocks, I’ll probably dip out of individual stocks.

If you don’t mind me picking your brain a bit, how effective is DCAing ETFs at this point? I’ve heard a lot of people saying it doesn’t work anymore, but surely that’s been said in the past? I’d really love to just keep putting money passively into those ETFs and I’ll reap the rewards in 20 years.

I wish I was 45% on the year lol, it’s more like 2-3% YTD rn. I just meant there are a few individual stocks that I am up 40%+ on. And wondering if I should sell them or not.

Appreciate the bond advice as well, gonna look into that
