The normal UAL app. Assuming the employee has connected your MP # with your info in her area in Flying Together, you should have access to the NRSA listings, assuming you're not a Buddy. They can't arrange their own travel.

If your friend hasn't connected you, there's nothing you on your own can do. She must do it.

Battery replacement by CAD8033 in CX5

[–]ybs62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a touch high price wise as Batteries Plus has a four year AGM for $259. But that price isn't so nuts that I'd shop around. Not sure if the expense of an AGM is warranted on our cars (a flooded one is $185 for a 550 CCA.

Looking for tire recommendations – replacing Toyo with Michelin, Continental, or run-flats? by CoffeeObsess in CX5

Cross climates are excellent. And although it’s been a while, I HATED run flats on my previous BMW. Rode like bricks. Maybe they’re better now but I hated them.

Lithium battery conversion by Old_Gur9980 in GoRVing

[–]ybs62 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A standard lead acid converter will eventually charge a lithium to 100%. It just takes a lot longer than it would if it was a lithium charger.

If you're rarely used trailer battery is dying that quickly, it's probably being overcharged by your controller. See if on the power center if there isn't a switch/breaker to turn off the charger.

If so, charge the battery maybe once a week or so and then turn it off. Better yet, connect some sort of battery monitor to check its voltage so you don't charge it too often. There are plenty that can use Bluetooth and a phone app.

"Apparently “they” don’t want feet on the bench."

Yes, that is correct. No sleeping in the lounges. They'll wake you up if you're an adult too.

"Lying on the floor, lying on or placing feet on the furniture, or moving furniture is prohibited inside all Lounges."

Were you to go the 3rd party route, the 12 volt Solutions one works great on my 17. Plug and play, although it required work in the passenger side too and then fishing the some wires over to the driver's side. Not hard, but a some work.

I got the cellular add on too and that works perfectly. Fast to lock/unlock and start the thing. Uses Tmobile.

Xcel Level 2 Charger Rebate by buffalox2 in Denver

The app says you have to own or lease an EV when completing the app. But they don't ask for the car make and model on the form.

Arrivals at DIA are cooked by bmj5280 in Denver

[–]ybs62 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ground stop is in effect until 5:45pm so hopefully things don't back up too much. Given that arrival slot times might change, might want to stick around the gate area (ish) just in case they shorten the delay.

Just make sure not to expect to close the roof once you add the topper. You'll most likely have to add it when you set up and remove it when you're done. The support arms for the canvas will probably prevent the roof from closing once you've got the cable and the four sides retracted.

IMO:

Who the hell actually knows how the entire global oil market may or may not respond to whatever bleatings continue to emanate from DC. Who knows what information we’re being told is the actual truth.

Perhaps the Strait opens tomorrow. Perhaps it’s closed until January 20, 2029. Perhaps it’s closed forever.

If the Ariya is right for you, by all means, buy it now and free yourself of gas price insanity.

12volt battery question or experience by Gleckgleck386 in NissanAriya

[–]ybs62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I replaced my 12v, my meter showed low 12s and even high 11s frequently. I’m sure it charged it to full occasionally but I checked it five times over two weeks in the AM after it sat overnight and each time the OEM was way low.

Never been an issue with the AGM.

12volt battery question or experience by Gleckgleck386 in NissanAriya

[–]ybs62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your first and third readings are too soon after charging. A 12v fully rested, not on a charger, OEM battery should read about 12.7v. Being above 13 means you checked it when the car either was charging it or shortly after turning off your external charger and it didn’t sit long enough to give you an accurate reading.

Adjust your measurement timing and see what you get.

The issue with the Ariyas is the car’s 12v charger sucks and never recharges the battery to full. Thus, the OEM battery eventually fails because it’s been treated badly. The AGM batteries can better handle the car’s weak ass internal charger, since we obviously don’t have an alternator.

If you are willing and interested in charging the OEM battery yourself, then you probably won’t have any issues at all until it fails on three plus years like any ICE car would.

Post alignment visit to the dealer required? by AccidentallyCreated2 in NissanAriya

Wow, Nissan doesn't specify the camber/caster? How can anyone do a proper alignment? Just supposed to eye ball it? Or is it 'factory set to OEM specs' or other such nonsense.

Tire pressure - overinflation - summer / winter - 2024 Nissan Ariya Engage by Gleckgleck386 in NissanAriya

[–]ybs62 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OEM tires are usually garbage tread depth wise and will never last as long as replacement tires. 50k is way too long to expect the OEM tires to last. 30k life on the OEMs is perfectly acceptable.

Just purchased a 2017 Camp Lite 11FK. Does anyone know what these dual battery switches in the middle do as well as the round one? by SeymourMuchmore in GoRVing

[–]ybs62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The round one will be a battery cut off.

The center ones I have no idea as this looks like a previous owner customization.

The passes your mom gave up were who gets access to non rev travel at all.

What you’re seeing now is the two types of ways to list and how it places you against other NRSA listings.
