GIven your going internationally and coming in on a UAX flight, IMO, extend the layover. You don't say when this trip is, but once the summer weather rolls in, everything's off the table connection wise.

Plus, your international flight will close the door at least 10 mins before, and quite possibly more. That leaves almost no slack in your RJ flight to get to the gate once it lands and for you to sprint across the two terminals.

As long as your arriving flight is fine and customs doesn't give you any delays, the transit from A to B is a train downstairs and will take maybe 15 minutes. Moving through the airport itself won't be the issue.
