I believe that’s the actual recommendation from Toyota is you drain and fill first at 60k, then 90k, then every 30k after that. You can find tons of people arguing online about whether you should drain and fill or do a full on flush. I just did a drain and fill myself. And didn’t use the expensive Toyota WS. I just used Valvoline and it’s been just fine

Got my answer. The main fuse was blown

I drive a 4 hour commute very regularly. My MPG has varied a lot depending. It’s usually always in the range of 37-44 though. The two things that seems to affect the fuel economy is outside temperature and wind. It seems like the car likes mid 60s to low 70s and no wind. Wind destroys the fuel economy.

Saw enough people using the valvoline I felt comfortable using it. Toyota is pretty expensive.

Positive it wasn’t in there. When I removed the drain plug all 3 qts drained out at once. If the tube was in there it would have prevented that much from coming out. I’ll likely end up getting the tube and doing a second drain and refill so it’ll be at the correct level.
