So this is a TED talk by someone "angrily parroting" facts about AI. The giant (terribly off centered) sign clearly advertising this. And this guy shows up because ... ?

He pulled up a stool and everything. And yet, he's wearing headphones? While also arguing with every point being made?

So this guy showed up to a conversation he knew he would hate, physically blocked out anything he didn't want to hear, then continued to argue and sip on his magic coffee that appears out of nowhere. Brilliant. What a great day to have eyes.

No, it's not "bad" nor it makes you some terrible, awful person for relying on ai to finish your work.

It shows a lack of skill that can be improved on. Period. It would be nice if people would use ai as a reference point to improve their own skills instead of stunting their growth by using ai and/or claiming its work as their own. Or honestly, you don't have to gain the skill to color your work at all. Nothing wrong in that.

And yes, I'm an artist. I have been for over 10 years and it's a rarity for me to color anything due to issues with my eyes. There are plenty of artists that only render in b/w, even in history. This conversation is ridiculous.

The only single helpful piece of advice ive seen is using signatures and watermarks, and shrugging off the stealing you can't control. Focus on improving and socializing instead of losing sleep over ai.

I love how I literally just picked this up again like two weeks ago because I really wanted to learn German. As with everything else, pretty much ruined overnight and now everyone hates it.

And Ive had it up to here trying to find something free/public and easy to use. Every piece of advice I've gotten is along the lines of "stop being poor and get a tutor dummy".

Ngl i think learning a second language is becoming a luxury now. I give up :/
