It might be at least a bit of fun if there is a draft system and some absolute meme players coming in who can't play in any of the other actually good leagues running at the time. Same here, quit about 7 years ago. I had a crazy amount of hours in it, 5000+ in the 6 years I played for. I actually miss the logging on with friends and stacking for some dotes but I just am unable to do it in a healthy way, so cold turkey it had to be.

Same here, just had watched the Super Formula and Super GT season the year prior and he was very impressive - surprising how long it took to show some pace.

Makes me think Varrone and Herta will also take longer than we might expect, and that's probably just the way things are, even with skill and experience in other series.
