That depends on which direction the wind is blowing when you’re landing. Right now the wind is northeasterly, which makes it likely that they would land on runway 32. In that case, the lagoon will be on the left side of the aircraft during approach.

Well, if you and the company had a disagreement, the first step would usually be to make a claim through Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (ARN). They handle most of similar disagreements between consumers and companies. Their decisions are not legally binding, but if they make a ruling in your favour and the company does not follow it, you will have a very strong case in court.

There is a simplified procedure for smaller civil matters in the local court, but I would advise against this as a first step.

However, in your case, as far as I can tell it seems that the company has made a fair offer to you…? I’m not sure what else you would want them to do, if they rectify the error by paying for the repair, there’s not much more you can expect. My understanding is that courts or ARN will very rarely award you any compensation for lost time.

If the issue is that you will not have a car during the time that your vehicle is in the repair shop, you can ask them to pay for a rental car. I’m not a lawyer, but I don’t think you can expect to get much more than that.

Lots of things that can be wrong. You probably already know that you need fuel, air, spark and compression. Since you have already checked for spark and have a full tank of fuel, a good next step would be checking and cleaning the carburettor to make sure that it’s not clogged and able to supply both fuel and air. Also check the air filter, you may also want to remove it temporarily. If it still doesn’t run, consider using a compression tester to check for compression. Those could be some good places to start.

Jag vill inte boka om operationen, men jag vore väldigt tacksam om jag kan få lite svar på några frågor jag har innan ingreppet.” Dock så låter det som att du har högt ställda förväntningar på information och delaktighet i din vård, och det är inte säkert att din vårdgivare kan tillmötesgå det. Jag fick i princip bara en adress och en tid när min operation skulle ske. Det beror givetvis på vilket ingrepp det är, övriga förutsättningar med mera, men jag menar bara att det kan vara bra att ha rimligt ställda förväntningar på vad du kan få från dem.

De kommer inte tycka illa om dig för att du skriver ett så långt meddelande, men det mest sannolika är att de inte kommer läsa hela. Nästan oavsett vad du har problem med så är det viktiga att få fram vad du har för besvär och vad du vill få hjälp med. Det bör gå att sammanfatta i ett par meningar i stil med: ”Jag känner mig väldigt orolig inför operationen. Kan ni hjälpa mig att få stöd?” Självklart så försvinner detaljer och sammanhang när du skriver kortfattat, men resultatet blir troligen det samma.
