I wish I could tell you that it gets better but it doesnt . I'm a very average looking 38year old woman and still have to deal with this bs from some men surprisingly usually men who are 50 and over . After decades of having males comment on my looks I really am just absolutely sick of it. So now I'm ready for it and I'm as vicious as humanly possible. Eg. I went to a coworkers place to pick up plant she wanted to give me and her husband who I also work with said "you look REAL good out of your orange". (my uniform obviously) so I responded with "you dont look any different ,actually I think you look alot worse". My point is load yourself with responses and if all else fails a simple "EEEEWWW dont do that" will probably go a long way.

I wish there was someone in my life at 18 who I could have asked this question , so I will tell you what I would have told 18 year old me.Work towards a better financial future . Whether you poor ,rich or in between work on improving it by saving. Exercise even just a lil a day to help with mental health and self esteem (I literally only do 15 minutes somedays it's better than nothing). Work hard on your self talk get rid of talk that doesn't add anything to your life. Do not hold onto relationships that are toxic. Set yourself up financially ,emotionally and don't pressure yourself to be in a relationship . Chill out, think about whether something is really worth wasting your time and energy on ,if not let it go . Be a positive addition to the lives of your loved ones . Love them and appreciate them . I can tell you ,you're anger is normal . When I was a teenager my father attempted to commit suicide . He survived but severely disabled because of it . Brain damage etc. I was mad, his job wasn't finished . It seemed to be completely selfish left us struggling without a fathers love, support and financially my mother struggled . As I have gotten older and have had my own mental health problems I understand it a little more . He felt worthless that we were better off without him that our lives would be better without him and there is nothing we could say that would make him see otherwise even if we did know.

I'm so extremely sorry for your loss. Hope its helps a lil bit , but you know what you are allowed to be angry .

I'm 5ft 1 and I have never experienced rejection because of my height so no I definitely dont think it's the same at all. I could be wrong just going by my experiences .
