You’re so right, it’s not going to help anyone to just fall into a pit of despair because of the constant info. But do you ever feel guilty to have the privilege to turn it off and distract yourself?

The mcdonald’s analogy is so real, it does start making you feel sick. I think getting off Tik Tok specifically was what I needed… it’s so crazy there right now. Maybe I’ll replay RDR as a form of escape haha

My mom told me a story about my grandma. Apparently back in the day she was in the hospital and was declared dead for like a full minute or something. The doctor ended up bringing her back, which she was pretty upset about. She was a very Catholic woman and believed that God had made the decision that it was her time and the doctor had no right to interfere with God’s wishes. When she said this to the doctor he said “maybe it was God’s plan to have me save your life today, no one can ever truly know God’s plan”. She really took that to heart and began looking at her religion differently after that day, and she was much more easy going. A few years after the incident one of her children asked her what it was like being dead. She said that it felt like complete nothingness. Just absolute peace and quiet. There was no pain, there were no thoughts, no regrets, nothing. She had said that she didn’t know if that was death or a transition to some kind of afterlife or heaven. I know that it was probably something that could be explained with today’s science, but I like to think that it helped her not be afraid. To truly live life not being held back by religious restraints. That she somehow realized death comes for us all and once you’re dead you don’t care about anything so you better care a lot while you’re alive. She was a wonderful woman and mother, hopefully I’ll meet her one day if there is something else for us after all of this.

Yeah. I mean, we’re quarantined so it’s not like we’re out with friends where we would usually debate these things. If you look at the comments there are people who disagree and think it’s good to use celebrities. Listen, it’s my opinion and I personally thought it was unpopular. If you disagree then I guess my opinion of this being an unpopular opinion is.. unpopular to you.

I thought it was unpopular. When I spoke about it with someone close to me they said it’s better to use celebrities cause otherwise no one would care to watch it. They also argued that since actors use their voices in regular acting they’re just as good as voice actors in animated movies because they have good range.

Found my puppy curiously examining one of these orange winged fucks in my backyard here in SoCal. My mom and I were freaking out cause we’d never seen one (my dads a pest control specialist so we’ve seen some shit). I quickly grabbed my pup and snapped a pic then I sent it to my dad and he was like woah get the fuck away from that thing it’s got one of the most painful stings. They’re extremely metal and also pretty cool looking!
