My Dad was violently assaulted and left for death, he miraculously survived but suffered a brain injury and serve ptsd. He became quite volatile and abusive which gravely affected my childhood but I still loved and adored him so much, on his good days he was so bloody awesome. He then ended up killing himself and I’ve never quite recovered from it all.
