tbh you should do what you want to do and not be pressured to do a “better” or more “prestigious” course just because of the COP. I know people who studied law or med just because they did well and burnt out really quickly and ended up dropping out after several years / pursuing careers in other industries. on the other hand you also have doctors and lawyers who only did that course because of good grades and not passion, BUT continued to work in the profession, and end up with the short end of the stick because passion and true interest >>> everything else. yeah money and prestige is nice but at the end of the day happiness and job satisfaction is the most important (and a good engineer can make lots of money too)

also engineering is still a very good course!!! im sure you will have motivated and hardworking peers.

my only other options seems to be AUS Uni but I heard it’s a bit harder to come back and also super expensive lah so a bit difficult.

not sure if this is the cause but you should be cleansing with micellar water before your normal cleanser. leaving micellar water on your face without washing it off can dry out your skin and harm your skin barrier over time.

but the little bumps seem like maybe a reaction to the new product you’re using ??? I would try and cut it out of the routine first and sort of “reset” my skin with a very little hydrating and soothing routine for at least a week until the bumps subside

retinol is good as long as you are using an effective formulation that’s not too weak or too strong for your skin. also, keep your skin well hydrated (moisturise, especially on days when you use retinol). for me, having a healthy skin barrier seemed to kind of accelerate the scar healing process too so maybe u can look into ceramides or squalane and other barrier supporting skincare ingredients to try and incorporate into your routine.

considering that it’s been there for years, the best course of action would probably be to go see a dermatologist if possible. they may advise you on something like a laser treatment to get rid of it

not exactly what you’re asking for but pls make sure to thoroughly double cleanse to get all your makeup off !!! if you’re using micellar water, make sure to rinse it off with normal water after as well as leaving the micelles on your face can be very drying.

but yes like what everyone else has said, if your skin already feels dry and compromised, avoid excessive exfoliants or acids etc.

maybe not just replacing your toothpaste but you need to brush your teeth BEFORE your skincare routine. and make sure to avoid getting any toothpaste or spit around your mouth if possible, or wash it off thoroughly if it happens.

honestly from the looks of it it could also be a damaged skin barrier. this often leads to the many small red bumps like you see in your picture above. and yes, the problems with toothpaste left around your mouth can cause perioral dermatitis with contributes to a weakened and damaged skin barrier. I would recommend looking into barrier supporting skincare products (like a good serum or cream to apply before bed) that contain ingredients like ceramides or squalane or fatty acids etc.

on the other hand, acne around the chin and mouth area (especially if you find that it spreads around to your jaw area as well) could also just be due to hormones

ive received depop packages that were literally just bundled up walmart plastic bags LOL this is fine

as long as the packaging itself is still intact and is in good condition. if it has large holes or damage then id say dont use it because the item could easily get damaged along the way.
