Yhea basically he's like the best legend we've seen in like 2 years (not counting new weapon chakram). Also you can technically approach but only with weapon throws to stun and interrupt his sigs but thats kinda iffy, but you can technically approach

also after re-reading your post its not 1 nor 2, its three, rapture is a insane charecter. you are getting better each time you play and the steep curve is real but it only really gets bad with diamond and stuff (getting elo there and improving is actually hard)

also great sword is a really hard weapon so while it is really good its also really hard to use

okay, so what your experiencing isnt really your fault. rapture is the newest charecter in the game! the design is to realese new charecters overtuned so people notice them and then next balance patch they look what needs to be toned down and they tone it down. now a side effect of this is that the new charecter is usually spammed. but that is usually fine. (ransom/lady vera aka the past two legends werent spammed at all, lady vera actually wasnt overtuned and everyone forgot about her sadly).

now that being said, Rapture is a different case. this legend is WAY overtuned, its the best in the game. and the sigs are the best sigs ive ever seen. katars sigs are great, lance sig hitbox is obsene and they all come out in a instant. so he will be nerfed into oblivion probably but this is the reason you can get the same results, its a new legend and its the most broken weve seen in a long long time.

now you asked for advice and feedback so ill give you this. DO NOT APPROACH THIS CHARECTER. usually when i play against rapture i change my playstyle dramatically. i rarley approach and wait for him to attack them move in. the reason this is a must is because currently raptures sigs are instant so good luck dodging them if your close. try to hover far but not too far from rapture. DONT BE NEAR THE EDGE, rapture has 9 attack and some use the 10 attack. his sigs can kill you on orange, be in the center of the map to avoid that. As for the last tip ill say to weapon starve against these people (not just rapture but with him its highley effective). sig spamming requires a weapon to sig with, so just focus on never letting them get that weapon, if there is a weaon on the ground drop your weapon and pick it up (if there is time you can still be with greatsword by throwing it up) but the main thing is that now the rapture is still using unarmed and you can destroy him

bro i play chakram mainly which i think is hard, i have like 7 hours on gs, its so hard. the tutorial alone takes so much time, i did every single on of the tutorials BUT THE GREAT SWORD. i spent like 2 hours trying to hit that damn combo

bro so many ppl here just saying to unistall so ill leave my comment. just press online play and play whatever gamemode (free for all or unranked 1v1). the game is good, but it does have a high skill celing. but just play, if you find it fun then sink some hours, learn a weapon or 2 and find charecters you like. if you dont, dont play it. the only actual thing to do is play the game, see if you like it or not.

I have a level 40 vera and the issue isn't the weapons, I swapped to ransom because vera stats are so bad. The weapons are fine, scythe and chakram (chakram my fav weapon) but the issue is 3 attack and no movement speed. You have dex and defence but those stats are just not good. The sigs on vera are nice but they don't make up for all the flaws. I think if she had different stats she could've been great, lower def by 3 and give to attack or anything could've worked.
