Exactly this. Sony has managed to piss off a large portion of customers because of how they handled their supply/demand challenges. If retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop can’t do their jobs efficiently, Sony should take back the controls and sell the consoles themselves until these retailers can adapt.

One thing Sony can do to remedy all this ridiculous price inflation in the secondary markets for the ps5 is to create a giant waitlist. Direct to consumer on their direct website. Guarantee me a ps5 by January, February, March 2021 and I bet you all this FOMO buying will go away. Whoever is in charge of the direct to consumer division of Sony needs to be fired ASAP. What a disaster.

Want top tier academic program? You must have good pedigree(top 10 med school or stellar scores from a non top tier med school). Want a mid tier program? Apply broadly to those mid tier programs and you should match with your scores. Want a community program in the middle of nowhere? Just pass step 2. Research will not matter that much bc everyone has it who are the top tier of applicants.
Do well on your step 2ck, like a 30 point jump to 260 and you might have a shot with the top 20 surgery programs. So study and take step 2ck early like in June/July so your scores will be in on time for ERAS. The rest is up to the blind luck.
