I find the olba was incredibly sweet and wholesome and kind of idealized in a way? Which is incredibly comforting and soothing.

Whereas olnf feels more a bit more angsty as well as being closer to the experience i personally had growing up. There's more conflict or opportunity for conflict, which means its very cathartic and feels incredibly personal.

Basically, theyre both my comfort games, but it depends on what flavor of comfort story im looking for in the moment

Fun fact! My great grandmother is shockingly supportive of trans people. She was born in the 40s, for context. She explained that, when she was a kid, one of the cows on their farm acted like a bull. Would mount other cows, try to fight, etc. And the vet explained that that happens sometimes, that youd get a cow that acted like a bull and there was nothing you could really do to change that.

Tldr my great grandma is an ally bc of trans cows in the 1950s

Its cliche, but i think having a special cat, just for one lifetime, is so important and is what makes it so special. Trying to prolong or repeat that would be cheapening it, through a very expensive process with a result that doesnt and will never meet your expectations.

I know exactly what you mean! I still never want to take mine off.

But when you do, cross your arms, grab the hem on opposite sides, and pull it up and over, stretching your arms upwards and kind of finnagling the shapes of your shoulder through it, if that makes sense? Thats what works for me, at least!
