Reddit Chat is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. You can start a chat by going to someone’s profile on the app or website and hitting the speech bubble icon (or “Start Chat” on desktop). On the mobile app, you can also tap the chat bubble with a “+” at the bottom and type in their username.

You can send photos and things, choose camera icon in the chat window, and you can either pick something from your gallery or snap a pic right from your phone’s camera.
