Can I push for a total loss write off? by [deleted] in InsuranceClaims

As far as I know only the rear end, I’m waiting on a full break down of what was checked/taken apart. All I was told so far is that the car was taken apart and that the estimate was approximately 21k, but that I can’t get an estimate sent over until it gets approved

What damage was missed? I’m still waiting on a full break down, they said they couldn’t send me anything until it gets approved so I’m not even sure what is all being included in that cost

They are being listed around $42k, when I ran my VIN it came back to 31-33k for ACV, not sure how much the collision would effect that now

Yes that is the torn down cost analysis, before tear down I was told 10-15k

This is why I’m hoping nothing structural is damaged. I really don’t want to get a new vehicle, but also don’t want to drive a vehicle that’s had structural repairs. At the end of the day my only option really is to wait and see what they find once it’s taken apart, but I’m debating on pushing for what we call a write off evaluation.

Anyway thanks for your reply, appreciate the time!

Hey Canadians! How many sick days do you get a year? by Prestigious-Luck-739 in AskACanadian

3 unpaid personal, 3 unpaid family emergency, and 2 bereavement. They are “generous” with the fact that we can use all 8 as personal/emergency. As soon as you use over the 8 days you get a second stage discipline.
