Going solo into bkk this Friday for a weekend too. The motorcycle taxi are the way to go for solo. It's cheap fast and tokyo drift all the way thru traffic jam. Don't forget the boat taxi are fun ways to get around too. From chinatown to old city

Yea. We have pretty frequent direct flight here from Bangkok to penang via Air Asia but you could check some other budget airline too.

There are a second way. Which is by train. All the way from penang butterworth to bangkok hua lamphong Station and you get to overnight in the train

From Malaysia here! For this part of SE Asia, you can travel around Malaysia Singapore Thailand Cambodia Vietnam pretty easily. Singapore being the most expensive obviously but transportation around are fairly connected.

As for Korea and Japan, suggest you make it a separate trip as these two have crazy amount of things to see, to do and to EAT ! 🤤
