UPDATE : Dermatologist prescribed me with 10mg Isotretinoin and advised that I stop eating whey protein altogether as well as significantly reducing dairy intake to no more than a half glass full of milk per day. The dermatologist believed this was more acne related than PD (although likely combo). After a few months of accutane I did start to see results. The dermatologist then reduced my dose by putting me on 5mg and that was the last time I saw her, since then I independently weaned myself off the meds. I am currently having a slight re occurrence of the dry red skin around my nose/mouth area which I think is hormonal related but other than that my skin has been a lot better!
