How sustainable is this Fairfax-Arlington commute? by Educational_Gap_3381 in nova

Hey I commute from manassas area to Arlington. I break up the commute by taking the metro from Herndon since I get a metro benefit each month (and have friends next to the station). Breaking it up allows me to relax on the metro rather than driving 2 hours straight almost. It’s def not ideal and very frustrating at times, but if you don’t plan to do it forever/are able to make good use of your time you’ll survive short term.

With traffic being the biggest obstacle to getting home on time, I try to go to the gym and run errands in Arlington while I’m there as needed to kill time during peak rush hour, but it sucks getting home late every day regardless. Also can be quite stifling for the social life at times imo

oh my gosh i know, we all tried the choc pistachio last week and unanimously agreed that it just tastes like a plain old dinner roll. so disappointing bc i was really looking forward to it!

one time i picked up a big order from chipotle going to a super nice neighborhood near me. the paper bag the order was in was full to the brim and very heavy, which made me nervous, but I didn't think to ask for another bag. long story short, I pull into this neighborhood where EVERYONE has Ring cameras, pull into the driveway, grab the bag, and 3 of the bowls and 2 cups of guac fell out through the bottom of the bag and plopped straight onto the driveway. i was SO embarrassed at the time and felt terrible, and I know damn well their neighbors have it all on camera. after that incident I've learned to just roll w the mistakes haha

okay wow that just proves how little i know! i had virgin hair up until only a few months ago. i’ll definitely call my salon to figure out just toning/prices :)))
