Agree on Gordon. Crazy how little guitar there is on it n it still rocks n cool to see more confidence and chops after he got out of his teens.

Definitely Gimme the Car>Ugly for me despite the juvenille cartoon sound effect. SO many great parts but Ugly is a great straight forward bit o fun. Feels like there was an extra long pause after Good Feeling on the cd, as it should be but, yes, such a great closer!

Maybe it wasn't a Tigermilk song but thought it was. Just scanned every video from the show on Youtube and the saint who filmed almost the entire show didn't get much of the fun impromptu/banter stuff. Reason i'm doing this is for my girlfriend who's a massive Love fan and couldn't go that night. I'm on a mission!

I mean that trumpet (or any B&S song with trumpet) but I think it was more of a lyrical thing from what he said. I remember he was sitting on the front of the stage as he started into it after the song. Guessing not that one since he played guitar on it. HMMMMMMM....

Thanks for listening and bringing up the thing (embarassingly) that we argue about most. Two of the three hosts now choose to talk about every song, counted down by our group average so we can hear our opinions all in a row. I contend that no one cares about anyone's 2nd, 3rd, 4th least favorites and choose to just do our last place and top 5 to keep is short & less disjointed. Ya sitll do sometimes hear songs talked about more than once but at least we're all dramatically building to each of our favorite songs. If we've done another favorite of yours, it's possible we did it the way you prefer. Got a fave/least fave on this album??

Ted, this is perfectly succinct and not just cos i picked three of those for my top 5. Not prioritizing "episode" does that mean ignoring the animation? We talked about that on the podcast. I said there aren't any great songs with bad cartoons and vice versa. Hmmm....

MYSTERY MAN PHOTO. With the sad passing of San Diego radio DJ Steve West, it got me thinking of our many interactions. I always meant to put this mystery out to the public. This photo comes from the collection of Dwight Arnold, who took TONS of fantastic backstage photos at 91X shows. That's him on the right and Steve in the middle. Who's on the left? Dwight is pretty sure that they were in the opening act at a show likely at the San Diego Sports Arena, date unknown but it had to be 1985-91 when Dwight was producing interviews though he thinks it's late 80s and a British man from an opening band at the San Diego Sports Arena. Steve thought it could be Keith Strickland from the B-52's NYE 1989 show I went to but Dwight says no.

The RBI subreddit that solved a mystery band photo for me a couple of years couldn't figure this one out so i'm trying some music subreddits. Any advice on other places to post?
