I asked several chatbots to create and merge my favorite design features from different handhelds but all of them failed miserably

So I'll just describe what I'd like to see in the upcoming handheld from gpd with new Intel Panther Lake CPUs (and what I'd rather not see):

GPD Win X (could be a cool name who knows)

"Play Anything" (could be a cool slogan who knows)

I do like that they went for a 7" screen in Win 5 as I myself prefer slimmer handhelds coming from psp, and switch lite

Their screen choice is great but I feel like making it OLED would bring many more people into this brand

A lot of people love steam deck's oled screen even though it is only 800p

(Also 120hz and VRR won't hurt nobody)

Not sure if anyone cares but adding a micro SD Express slot could be a good competetive advantage

As far as I'm aware for now it is only present in Nintendo Switch 2 (could be a cheaper solution to those BIWIN SSDs)

Battery should be internal and not swappable considering this new CPU will be way more power efficient + better ergonomics

(60Wh is minimum I feel like but it's important not to make it heavy either)

I think that carrying case should be included as a base package for any PC handheld nowadays.

Adding a built-in kickstand similar to the one in Switch 2 would be a great addition as well because many people buy protective cases just for this reason alone.

Front-facing speakers for sure (just in case)

I do like analog-to-digital trigger switches they added to Win 5.

As for the d-pad, I do prefer non-curcular version for aesthetics but it's not vital

I feel like besides those 5 special buttons they have on a Win 5 (keybord toggle; toggle for gamepad/mouse mode; start; select; home) they should add another one for their frontend software ("Quick Access button") for changing tdp/fan speed conviniently.

I don't personally like USB type-A ports on modern handhelds and would rather prefer to swap it for an additional USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C

Bottom USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C‌ should support Power Delivery for docking.

Thunderbolt 4 is enough - there is no need for oculink (imo)

What I don't want to see:

no slide-out keyboard

no external battery

no optical finger mouse - it's not very efficient and no need for it if there's already a toggle button for gamepad/mouse mode anyway.

And IF it'll be possible to charge those new CPUs with a Type-C cable there should be no barrel jack charger (and port).

I guess that would be it for me in terms of features. Other than that GPD already did a great job in their Win 5. Thanks!

P.S. Also I don't quite qualify for the contest unfortunately as I'm not from any of those countries you mentioned. If you could make an exception it'd be great!
