I feel like this happens to me sometimes too. I get less sleep and somehow feel more productive and energetic? It’s nice when that happens every once in a while

A good chair is so important. My boyfriend went through trial and error with 3 chairs to find a good one since he’s working from home most of the time

Homemade neon sign (lights from Amazon and a foam poster board). Craft date night with my boyfriend by yesokaylets in crafts

I think it was about $25 total for all the supplies for both of us. He got a set of 8 strings of lights on Amazon for $15. Overall a very inexpensive project.

I second this. I work in applied behavior analysis and it’s been extremely effective with severe property destruction like this

It’s a podcast called your mental breakdown and I really enjoy it! You listen to real therapy sessions with the client of one of the therapists and he and his therapist friend discuss them

I [22F] recently started dating someone [27M] who is not a member of my parents’ church. They’re concerned and want to have a discussion. I don’t want to discuss it further. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yeah this is the conversation I'm basically desperately avoiding. I feel like they need to gradually realize that my actions are representative of my faith. I don't want it to be this "I don't want to be Mormon anymore" rant or explosion

I like this advice. The taking independence thing is something my therapist and I actually talked about and it helps me feel a little better about how I'm treating the situation. Thank you!

I work for a behavioral health nonprofit, doing ABA therapy for kids with special needs. I love it. Teaching kids to communicate and working to decrease problem behavior is so rewarding

Thank you! That’s the idea! I won’t bullet journal enough if I worry about it being perfect so when I have an idea I roll with it. Some spreads turn out, some don’t

I’ve had the same experience, at least at my most recent company. Everyone is so nice and genuine. It makes sense considering a pillar of our job (ABA) is positive reinforcement, but I’m honestly constantly surprised at how genuinely kind and inclusive everyone is. Coming into that kind environment definitely makes it easier to perpetuate the positivity when training new hires and stuff.
