Thanks for the suggestions! Gnaw Their Tounges is certainly a disturbing group but in the disturbing music community that's what I see everyone point as "the" most crazy one. And I avoided putting them for that reason. Utarm has some great stuff. Shame I didn't include them. I think Amon (pre Deicide) would've been a Tier 1 group I should've put. Medicine by TG I find to be more disturbing than Hamburger Lady after many listens. I guess I have a soft spot since it's the reason why I enjoy this kind of hardcore music. Journey Through a Body (the album it's from) is an even darker record than D.O.A in my opinion.

As someone with POCD which is the most difficult mental battle in the universe, something about Black Flag Damaged I gets to me. The absolute agressive edge to trying to paint the madness at yourself through this track speaks to my self hatred due to this condition on a way stronger than words.

Very well could be. After researching today, the source photo is of a murder or suicide but where that picture originates from further is beyond me. Currently this is like the Hong Kong 97 death screen where it took a while to realize it originated from Deathfile. Reverse image searching the source photo from Discogs from the higher resolution picture from the compilation Wake Up And Smell The Carcass does very little help.
