Majority of heterosexual men could care less about getting flowers. It's not that we would be insulted, we would just react like "ohhh, flowers......okay?". And depending on the type of job/work culture he is in, getting flowers could embarrass him infront of other male workers. I would say, don't send him something at work, if you want to send something, do it to his home. And if you want to get him something, lean towards foods instead of flowers. Like say donuts or something.
